Happy Valentines Day - A Day of Love For All

I like to think as Valentine’s Day as a day to remind all those we love that we are simply here and share a message that they and all of us are loved. Whether it is by a husband, wife, partner, children, pets or other family or friends there is a great deal of love in the world.

If we turn it into a day of sharing the message of love, being single on Valentine’s Day doesn't need to be the most dredged day of the year. Instead it is filled with a positive message and one we can also share love for ourselves.

This Valentine’s Day I am going to share cards with the family and be kind to myself by giving 'me' some extra time to design this week. I am also going to browse those seeds catalogues and plan my new products, so an exciting week ahead.

I hope whatever you are doing this Valentine’s Day you have a wonderful day, filled with love and something that you enjoy this week. Be kind to yourself and dream big, a little every day.

Inspired by nature, hope and fresh beginnings. The Pantone Institute has announced its colour of the year for 2017 Pantone 15-0343 or "Greenery". Symbolic of "new beginnings" which is fitting after 2016. Bringing in hope and zesty start to 2017 with fresh yellow-green shades.

Reminding me of the first shoots of Spring which are always a welcome delight after winter. Natures natural greens revive and help us feel renewed.

Which is also a joy as I can show a sneak peek at one of our new wallpaper designs. perfect with it's hint of spring green. This would also work well with the Pantone colour of the year, used as a feature wall the design would make a room feel cosy and pretty. The wallpapers will be on sale in 2017 so please do contact me if you would like more details or a stockist name.

New to the online shop are our mixed media Bag Art Pictures with a twist of vintage fabrics. Each bag is created by hand in our Hampshire studio with joy. All the fabric, trims, mixed media and gems are carefully selected to create the right balance for each picture.

The framed bag pictures can be personalised or simply left blank as you can choose. Avaialble as a single bag framed or in multiples of three, six, nine or tweleve. For anything bespokeplease do just get in touch.
